10-year-old's mother hangs herself in Ranchi, Jharkhand
In a tragic incident in Latma Road locality of Ranchi, Jharkhand, a mother of a 10-year-old child hanged herself with her dupatta from the ceiling of her house on Monday. Vinod Mirza, her husband who works as a mason, found her hanging when he woke up in the morning. The Jagannathpur police station has lodged a case of unnatural death in this regard.
According to Sanjay Kumar, the officer in charge of Jagannathpur police station, Rahila Devi, the deceased, had become extremely introverted and was suffering from severe depression in recent days. It is worth noting that Rahila's parents had attempted suicide four years ago as well.
The incident has left the family and the local community in shock and disbelief. It serves as a reminder of the need for mental health awareness and support in our society.
