Wife Hires Woman to Kill Husband in Shocking Murder Conspiracy

In a shocking turn of events, a woman conspired to murder her husband by hiring another woman to engage in a relationship with him. The body of Jeevan Singh (33) was discovered dumped in Sidhwan Canal on January 16, leading to the arrest of his wife, Manpreet Kaur (30), and her accomplices on murder charges.

The strained relationship between the couple is believed to be the motive behind the murder. On January 15, Manpreet caught her husband in a compromising position with the hired woman. In response, Manpreet, along with her accomplice, strangled him to death. The accused then disposed of the body in Sidhwan Canal, prompting the victim's brother to suspect foul play and report it to the police.

While Manpreet has been arrested, authorities are conducting raids to apprehend her accomplices, Parveen Rani, Manjit Singh, and Sonu. The complaint was filed by Ranjit Singh, the deceased's brother, resulting in the registration of a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including murder and criminal conspiracy. The victim, a carpenter, and his wife had two children. Manpreet confessed to the crime during the investigation.
