The Inside Story

Woman Murdered by Jealous Rival and Accomplices

The Rajendra Nagar police in Hyderabad have apprehended three individuals, including a woman, in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Anamtha Ahmed, also known as Saniya, who worked as an event manager. The lifeless body of the deceased was discovered near VIF College on Gandipet Road in the early hours of April 11th. Saniya, a resident of Masab Tank, had abruptly discontinued her studies and had been employed at Mosaic Events and Promotions, a company owned by Sarosh alias Zeeshan and Husna Khan.

Investigations revealed that Saniya had developed a romantic relationship with Zeeshan, who was already involved with Husna Khan, a married woman and mother of three. Consumed by jealousy, Husna Khan harbored a grudge against Saniya and orchestrated her murder with the help of two individuals named Malik and Rahan from Ziaguda. On the evening of April 10th, Husna Khan, Malik, and Rahan went to Saniya's residence in a Tata Gold vehicle and lured her under the pretext of attending a business event. They filled the car with fuel, dined at Mandara Hotel, and then proceeded to a desolate area in Tolkatta village, where they suffocated Saniya using a cloth.

The accused brought the deceased to Gandipet with the intention of burning the body, but their plan was thwarted when a police patrol arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames. The perpetrators fled the crime scene in the vehicle. The police have arrested Husna Khan, who smothered Saniya, as well as Malik and Rahan, who assisted in the murder. The trio has confessed to their involvement in the crime.
